Five years fly by when you’re busy decoding the mysteries of life! We are thrilled to welcome you back to the Mendel Genetics Conference. It’s been half a decade since our first gathering, and we couldn’t think of a better time (or place) to celebrate how far genetics has come than right here in its original backyard.

We’re inviting you again to Brno—not just because it’s the historic ‘cradle of genetics,’ but because this city knows how to make science legendary. We’re once again pairing world-class genetic research with a cultural program that’s as vibrant as the science itself. Expect a mix of top-tier brainpower and local cultural vibes that show why Brno is the ultimate place for science to meet the public.

The core scientific program will take place on Thursday and Friday, but the excitement continues into the weekend. On Saturday, we invite you to the University Campus Bohunice for the Mendel Festival. It will be a full day of free live music, engaging activities, and exclusive guided tours of professional research facilities and laboratories, giving you a unique look into where the future of science is being built.
